I had a decent weekend over all, up until the end. I mostly just played BG3 by myself even though M said we were going to play our coop game. He is just really into Starfield so I guess we will never finish our game haha. Sunday my mom called me to tell me one of their dogs was having trouble breathing, so they were taking her to an emergency vet. I wound up driving out to her house twice to take care of the dog that was still at home while they were gone, which M wasn't too happy about, because it's a bit of a drive. Their dog, Roxy, ended up having congestive heart failure and had to be put down. So that was a sad end to my weekend. My mom is down to having just one dog now, Roxy's sister. She has had to put 2 dogs down now this year, which has been tough on her.
At work right now and they are doing 9/11 stuff but it's so weird because none of these kids were even alive when it happened. I was alive, but none of these kids were. But that's just the ever flowing passage of time I guess. Events that happened in my youth are now historical events that we teach kids about.
Going to put in my request for time off today I think. For the 2 weeks we will be visiting Greece/Italy next month. Since we only have 3 weeks till we leave. I am pretty sad that we weren't able to get a lot of the excursions that we wanted to do because none of of had money when they were available. We are going to try to book some when we get onto the cruise, hoping that they set some spots aside for people to book once the cruise starts. Mostly we want to visit Pompeii but the tour is sold out that we wanted to do. So either we get lucky or we will have to take a cab there and just walk around ourselves.
Oh my gosh I just closed this tab and was freaking out thinking I lost everything I had typed up till now. But it was still here when I reopened the tab. *phew*
ANYWAYS. I am hoping to get a new iPhone before we go on our trip, but who knows if I will be able to get one. They are supposedly officially announcing them tomorrow, so we will see about when the release date is. I haven't had an iPhone in years, but they are nice, so I am switching back. So Apple can steal all of my data.
